Abstract

The Journal of Organizational Behavior, in collaboration with the Body, Heart, and Mind in Business Research Group at the University of Sydney and the Organizational Behavior Research Group at Monash University, invite you to attend one of our upcoming one-day publishing workshops. The workshops will be led by JOB's Editor-In-Chief Christian Resick from Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA).

The Morning Session will focus on strategies for writing impactful papers and navigating the publication process through a series of presentations and focused discussions. Topics include: Overview of the publishing process, establishing the relevance of the topic, theory-method alignment, telling an engaging story, and navigating the R&R process.

The Afternoon Session provides an opportunity for participants to develop and refine the introduction from a working paper, receive feedback, engage in group discussion, and learn more about the review process. Activities include: developing the introduction, group discussion, and author-reviewer-editor dynamics. The workshops are free of charge and catering will be provided.

Pre-work

We ask participants to submit a 2-4 page draft introduction from a working paper that addresses the following questions regarding the paper's purpose and contribution:
