China Business Research Seminar

The University of Sydney Business School’s Responsible Management Research Hub invites you to a China Business Research Seminar designed to connect Business School academics, HDR students and University of Sydney’s China Studies Centre members working on business research relevant to China.

This event aims to provide Business School academics, including newer staff and HDR candidates, with opportunities to learn more about engaging in China-related business research, collaboration and funding pathways.

The session will include short presentations on China business research and the value of industry-academic collaboration from:

Helen Zhi Dent, Lead China Partner at KPMG and President of the Australia China Business Council NSW

Hans Hendrischke, Professor of Chinese Business and Management at the University of Sydney Business School and a member of the University’s China Studies Centre

Wei Li, Senior Lecturer in International Business at the University of Sydney Business School and a member of the University’s China Studies Centre

Michael Murphree, Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School (Education) in the School of International Business, Logistics and Supply Chains and a member of the University’s China Studies Centre

Eagle Zhang, Senior Lecturer in the School of Accounting, Governance and Regulation and a member of the University’s China Studies Centre

The session will also feature:

• Introductions from Business School academics on their China-focused research.
• An overview of the China Studies Centre’s research agenda and activities.
• Information on funding and support opportunities available through the Responsible Management Research Hub.
• Informal networking to explore shared interests and future collaboration
