Who are we?

We are a group of independent researchers from the University of Sydney, Deakin University, and the Australian National University. This project is funded by the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB), Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the University of Sydney Business School to understand the readiness for climate-related reporting and assurance requirements by Australian entities.

What will we do with the results?

We will produce a snapshot report of the implementation readiness of Australian assurance providers and their clients for the forthcoming climate-related reporting and assurance regime which we will make generally available. The aggregated data will also form the basis for further reports for the consideration of the AASB, AUASB and CA ANZ, and follow-up research projects.

Your insights are valuable!

Your response is important to help gain a better understanding of the implementation readiness of assurance providers and their clients for the mandatory disclosure regime, the challenges being faced and areas where implementation support is most needed.

Your participation and confidentiality of responses

Your participation is completely voluntary. If you participate, your individual responses will not be identifiable from any output produced, given that the results will only be released in aggregate. We do not collect or link any identifiable information to your answers, nor share or disclose individual responses to any of the funding bodies.

For more information about this project, please refer to the Participant Information Statement.

This survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
