Project Summary

Research on identifying preferences for multi-modal mobility services has provided an important reference point for signalling those features of mobility as a service (MaaS) subscription plans that show very positive signs of market appeal. Using the available research evidence on the key drivers of user preferences for MaaS plans for specific socioeconomic segments, this project designs, undertakes and assesses the impact of a real market trial in Sydney over 6 months to identify the extent of real commitment to what otherwise would remain a research-informed MaaS opportunity. Lessons learnt will advise future developments of MaaS offerings.
