Project Summary

Australian research indicates that culturally diverse workers have difficulty both accessing jobs appropriate to their skills and advancing their careers unobstructed (Cooke et al., 2013; Linpangog, 2013; Groutsis et. al. 2016; AHRC, 2016). To fully utilise and support the career progression of culturally diverse workers, intervention strategies at critical junctures in their career path are essential. In collaboration with Deloitte Australia, this project aims to embark on a future/solution-focused research project, to assess the challenges and opportunities of capitalising on culturally diverse talent.
