Sustainable energy sector, Vietnam

Thao Nguyen, a recent Master of International Business graduate, is creating positive change in her home country. She works to enhance information sharing and communication between national and international participants in the energy sector. Thao’s career path is not typical of a Vietnamese woman. She wants to encourage more young people, especially young women, to get a better education in Australia then return home and contribute to the development of Vietnam. Read more

Connecting Indian women entrepreneurs with Australian investors

MBA alumna, Anmol Saini, is now chairing a unique organisation, which she and the team hope will build a ‘knowledge bridge’ between India’s entrepreneurial women and Australian investors, known as the Virangana Project. The not-for-profit initiative invites Indian women who are looking to establish themselves in the start-up economy to submit their ideas and business plans to the project. Read more

Forbes 30 Under 30 | Start-up founder

Alexis Soulopoulos, a Master of Management (CEMS) alumnus, was recently named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. Alexis co-founded Mad Paws in 2014, a service that matches pet owners with sitters and has over 300,000 pets across Australia on its books.
