Nina is the recipient of the IPSOS and University of Sydney Business School PhD scholarship. She completed her masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning and International Affairs with specializations in transportation planning and international development at Florida State University. Her masters research explored the use of multi-method approaches in assessing the severity of pedestrian injuries in Metro Manila, Philippines. Prior to joining ITLS, she worked for CDM Smith as a transportation planner. In this role, she served as an in-house consultant for the Florida Department of Transportation - Transit Office where she conducted research, organized trainings, and provided project management support to public transportation projects.

Thesis working title

Improving travel survey methods

Nina will be exploring human-computer interactions in the context of improving travel survey methods and applications.
