The University of Sydney Business School's honour society, Beta Gamma Sigma recognises our academic staff and business professionals through the Chapter Honouree Award.


Academic of the Year

Student members of the University of Sydney Business School's honour society, Beta Gamma Sigma recognise the support and guidance offered during their degree through the Academic of the Year award.

Current BGS members select the award recipient according to the following criteria:

  • encourages and honours high academic achievement by students of business and management;
  • fosters in students an enduring commitment to the founding principles and values of the Society: honour and integrity, pursuit of wisdom, and earnestness; and
  • supports the advancement of business thought and practice to encourage lifelong learning.
