2018 Professor of the Year

Student members of the University of Sydney Business School's honour society, Beta Gamma Sigma chose Associate Professor Dirk Hovorka as the 2018 Professor of the Year.

The Professor of the Year is awarded to academic staff based on the following criteria:

• encourages and honours high academic achievement by students of business and management;
• fosters in students an enduring commitment to the founding principles and values of the Society: honour and integrity, pursuit of wisdom, and earnestness; and
• supports the advancement of business thought and practice to encourage lifelong learning.
